Last year's “ENCHANTED FOREST” proved to be one of the most popular yet! With over four thousand visitors and great weather for three of the four days, we couldn't have asked for a more “ENCHANTED” time for all! The addition of many new characters and the MHEP's “ECO-BEAR” added an extra amount of fun and wonder to the event. Not only did Hans Mayer magically inspire children to sing along with his entertaining; Hugs the Clown was sure to draw a crowd with her “clowning around.” We can't thank the many volunteers nearly enough for their dedication and help with all that goes into the preparation and running of this yearly, anticipated event. The volunteers included many of MHEP board members, staff, community members, UWL's “WITHIN” group and Alpha Sorority, VITERBO and UWL students, Sam's Club, Boy scouts of America troop 18 / Cubs Pack 29, LIFE's PRECIOUS MOMENTS, NORTHWOODS INTERNATIONAL ELEMENTARY students and family members, and a countless number of dedicated patron volunteers who withstood changing temps and long hours standing just to help ensure things run the best they could. Once again, THANK YOU ENCHANTED VOLUNTEERS !
